Tee Time is On!

Living Waters is preparing for its 2020 Golf Classic on September 30 at the beautiful Rock Hill Country Club in Manorville, New York, as the Golf Committee under chairman Michael Racanelli is hard at work coordinating the event. The classic is the major benefit held annually for Living Waters Therapeutic Catholic Counseling. The day promises to be enjoyable and worthwhile even while observing all the required protocols now in place.

Neil King is a committee member long associated with the golf classic. Together with his wife Tricia, Neil has been involved with the event since the first year; his family’s company, King O’Rourke Cadillac in Smithtown, is pleased to be one of the sponsors.

Neil was happy to talk about his time working on the committee. “Golf is a great way to develop relationships and network, to make friends while doing business and get to know someone over the course of the day. And social distancing is easy to do with golf; it’s outdoors, and if you need to avoid close contact, you can use a hand cart to move around the course. And there are golf carts for one driver at a time, so it’s easier to maintain social distance.”

He continued, “This is also for a great cause, with Living Waters. In times like these, helping others through therapy and focusing on mental health is more important than ever.”

The Golf Classic features a day of golf with a schedule including full breakfast and lunch, on course food and beverages, and dinner with a cocktail hour and open bar.

Packages and sponsorships are available; digital journal entries for businesses are welcome, featuring a full page ad linked to your company website.
