Living Waters Hosts Coat Drive in Support of Franciscan Charities

Oct 27, 2020 | Blog

Living Waters is proud to support Franciscan Charities’ Winter Coat Drive.  Franciscan Charities is, a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization located in Newark, New Jersey, founded by Brother Paul Miller, our board member of Never Go Thirsty at Living Waters.
The mission of Franciscan Charities is to tend to the critical needs of the poor, provide tools to rise above poverty and support physical, emotional and spiritual healing.

Clients represent the most vulnerable members of society: the working poor, the homeless, the disabled, the unemployed, the addicted, the abused, single mothers, children, and the elderly.

Living Waters will be collecting coats as well as hats, scarves, gloves and socks.  For your convenience, a drop box is located on site at Living Waters.  We will be collecting up until the day before Thanksgiving, and then the coats will be brought to Newark, helping so many in need this winter.
For more information about Franciscan Charities and Brother Paul Miller, or if you would like to donate directly, please visit their website at www.franciscancharitiesinc.org.  Thank you for your generosity and may God bless you abundantly.  “For it is in giving that we receive.”
